Kelly Parkinson
Risk Communication Specialist
Kelly is a specialist in risk communication. He advised the mobile phone industry globally for 23 years on how to handle the concerns around mobile phones and cancer. This also involved managing near neighbour concerns around the placement of mobile phone base stations in suburban and rural communities all around the world.
He has also worked on other major controversial infrastructure projects such as mines and LNG gas facilities and on human health controversies for the dairy industry and sugar industry.
In the Energy sector he is well-known for resolving a long-standing neighbour dispute around Australia’s largest wind farm which had been going for more than ten years and ended up with a class action and four individual supreme court cases. He is currently working on a major high voltage transmission project in Victoria.

Engagement and Social Impact Specialist
Michael is an infrastructure development professional with 20 years of experience in communications, engagement and social impact. He has extensive experience in infrastructure projects across all phases and has worked in a variety of national and international industries including energy, transport, water, local government, and mining sectors.
Michael has worked on international projects across the Asia Pacific Region applying social performance standards to mining and hydro power projects including resettlement planning.
He spent the last four years as a strategic engagement manager for AusNet on the Western Renewables Link Project. Michael was focused on building and maintaining positive working relationships with the projects most complex stakeholders.
